Bear Creek Scout Reservation is located in Hunt, Texas and offers five weeks of summer camp from June 12-July 16, 2016 for Boy Scouts. Ken Lamb is the camp director and can be contacted for more details. Week 3 begins on a Monday and week 4 welcomes Venturers and has a provisional troop. Provisional Scouts can attend without a leader from their troop. The cost for youth from the Alamo Area Council is $290 and $145 for adults. Bear Creek has over 50 years of experience and offers many program areas like shooting sports, aquatics, COPE course, and more. Recent improvements include new attractions like paddle boards, water slides, zip line and a BMX track.

2. Since 1964, Bear Creek Scout Reservation
has been the premier camp of the Alamo
Area Council of the Boys Scouts of America.
Is your Troop already committed to another
camp, but you have a few scouts unable
to attend that week or that location? If so,
consider sending them to Bear Creek as
Provisional Scouts. Provisional Scouts may
attend camp with or without a leader or other
boys from their home troop. A Provisional
Troop is provided during Session 4.
The 2015 cost to attend Bear Creek
including meals is :
• $290 per Alamo Area Council youth
• $145 per adult
• $300 per Provisonal (lone) Scout
