Bruce Wayne's parents are killed and he relocates to Asia where he is trained by Henri Ducard in combat. He learns of a plan to wipe out crime in Gotham City but does not agree with it, so he returns home. He adopts the image of a bat to frighten criminals and becomes Batman. However, his crime fighting does not go unnoticed for long.

3. THE TWO CHARACTERS IN SHOT ARE ‘GOOD’
THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY INOCENT CHILDREN,
THAT ARE BROTHER AND SISTER. THEY ARE
CLOSE IN RELATIONSHIP, BEING SHOT IN THE
SAME FRAME
WE SEE THAT THE INTENCE MUSIC CREATE
THE IDEA OF TWO CHILDREN PLAYING IN A
GARDEN TO INVITE US INTO THE THRILLER.
THE MOOD HOWEVER IS LIGHT UNTILL THE
BOY FALLS DOWN THE HOLE (THE WELL).
SHOT FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE WELL,
FROM WHERE HE IS FALLING MAKES IT APEAR
LIKE HE IS FALLING A LONG WAY, THE SHOT
ALSO SHOWS THE LIGHT FROM WHERE HE IS

TWIST IN THE LATER PLOT OF

5. THE THEMES THIS MOVIE SHOWS ARE, DARK COLOURS AND INTENSE MUSIC. THIS IS ALL PACKED IN
THE FIRST 2 MINUTES OF THE FILM. IT HELPS US SEE THE GENRE OF THE FILM AND DRAWS US IN TO
THE INTENCE PLOT RIGHT FROM THE START AS WE DON’T KNOW THE PLOT YET.
THE STORY ITSELF ISNT KNOWN HOWEVER THE CHILDREN IN THE GARDEN ARE IN A DREAM OF THIS
MAIN CHARACTER AFTER IT IS JUXTAPOSED WITH THE IMAGE OF THE MANS CLOSE UP FACE. THE
DREAM WASN’T PLEASANT AND SO WE CAN ADD TO THEMES TO SHOW THE GENRE. ASWELL AS THE
HUGE CONTRAST BETWEEN THIS SCENE AND THE DREAM IN SOUND AND SETTINGS.
WE SEE A BIG HOUSE AND A HUGE GARDEN WITH KIDS PLAYING. INTO A DARK WELL THE STORY
BECOMES MORE INTENSE. WE SEE THE MAN THAT HAS THE DREAM MUST BE THE BOY IN THE DREAM
AND A FURTHER WIDE SHOT SHOWS THAT HE IS IN A TYPE OF PRISON. AS WE SEE A DARK ROOM AND
PRISON BARS TO END THE TWO MINUTES.

shots, they are in the same frames as well as their dialogue, with editing it helps pass

then we cut back to the boy waiting.
• In the later scene we establish that Bruce is in a prison type thing as well as he has
an enemy in the room, we cut to him looking at the guy and then the guy looking
