James Bond shooting at the audience is
the opening of every 007 film.
The title sequence is quite fast telling the

which I believe is action. Telling us the
producers, actors and directors of the film
next to all the action.
Judging by the movement of the images on
the title sequence it’s signifying that there
are a lot f things happening at once.
Considering the beginning showed blood
and violence it’s trying to set the scene as if
you have to be aware of everything in the
surroundings.
Salsa dancing trying to set where
The main character is, this showing the
lively background contrasting to all the
blood and violence or it could be setting
up to all the action that is about to
happen. Even these girls dancing is a
typical convention of a title sequence that
James Bond has a relationship with and
then they die considering the dancing girl
is represented in red therefore could
signify that she is the girl he might has a
Relationship with and she will die later
on in the film.

2. Final Destination 5- opening title sequence
Back ground is constantly black
throughout the title sequence,
signifying that it’s dull, sign of
something bad happening. The
effect of 3d used to show objects
coming towards the audience. The
glass smashing signifying a lot of
action and damage going to happen.
This is further evidence to showing
bad things are going to happen to
characters in the film. The
explosive background shows there
will be explosions in the film
which affect many places or
people. This is conventional for the
final destination series.
Skull heads showing/ signifying
that many people will die, heads
will be chopped off. There floating
about the screen meaning it may
spread everywhere. It’s impossible
to stop constant deaths randomly
happening. This is conventional for
this film.
The explosion next to plain
signifying something will happen
to a plain and the explosion
suggest the plain will be bombed.
An attack on the plain causing
many deaths as shown above with
floating skull heads. Two meaning
put together.

3. The Italian job 1969
The opening starts with this
man driving a Porsche with
non diagetic sound. In the
background are the mountains
setting the scene where all the
action takes place, meaning in
a different country. It’s very
consistent throughout and
conventional to the film.
The title of the film portrayed
whilst the shot is taken place
very conventional for most
films in the 20th century also
showing who produced the
film with their logo in the
bottom left.
The film shows all the actors and
directors and assistants used in the
opening sequence as you can see
that it is listing the ‘chief makeup
artist’ to let viewers know who did
this. Furthermore, the film is
conventional as it is consistently
showing this as the opening
sequence is still going on in the
background.
This is another scene that shows the
background also this shows the
film is very consistent as the ending
finishes here with a cliff hanger and
ironically the characters are in a life
and death situation and ending the
film at this point so the term cliff
hanger was done for its meaning
and shown in the film.

4. Beverly Hills cop 2
Over the shoulder shot, again
similar to the Italian job the
titles are going on whilst the
opening scene is being
played. Again similar to the
Italian job the scene opens
with a main character also
just likes 007.
Starts with a stylish car like
Italian job setting the scene
where all the action takes
place.
Shows how rough the
neighborhood is and he is
driving around in a Ferrari
contrasting to the background,
meaning this guy must be big
and no one messes with him as
if he is the owner of the city.
Again setting the scene
showing what the area is like
whilst he drives in Ferrari.
Again, the titles happening
whilst the opening scene is
going on and still everything is
involved around this guy in a
suit and driving a Ferrari in a
rough neighborhood whilst all
this violence is happening in
the background.
The camera is still following
this man (As we know this
guy is Eddie Murphy) and the
camera continuously follows
him through the opening
scene. So this telling the
audience that it’s very
consistent and conventional to
the film. This is similar the
Italian job.
