Bruce Wayne witnessed the murder of his parents as a child and swore revenge on criminals. He trains himself physically and mentally to become Batman and fight crime in Gotham City. Unlike other superheroes, Batman has no superpowers but uses intellect, science, wealth and martial arts. Some of his most prominent villains include the Joker, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Bane and the Riddler. The Dark Knight trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan was very popular and successful.
