In all the busyness
of life it’s important
that you don’t
lose sight of how
important love is—
how important it is
in the big picture,
and how important
it is in your little
daily choices and
priorities.
It’s easy to
make choices that
squeeze love out
of the picture.
Somehow, unwittingly,
we forget the
importance of those
little acts of love,
which are often
manifested in acts
of kindness or
courtesy, or simply
taking time for
others. Sometimes we
forget that all our
accomplishments are
nothing without love.
Love is so basic,
so foundational,
and yet it is the
very force of
God’s nature. It
is the essence of
His Spirit. It is the
thing that will make
the difference. If
a little love can
change a life, think
what a whole lot of
love can do. It’s like
the constructive
equivalent of an
atomic explosion!
Love makes people
happy. Love makes
you happy when
you give it! Love
makes Jesus happy.
There’s hardly a
more beautiful or
worthwhile virtue to
have in your life.
Not everything can be measured in immediate,
visible fruit. Taking time for love is making an
investment. You don’t “get your money back”
the same day, but when it does come back to
you, it has multiplied and appreciated in value!
Basic, Yet
Phenomenal
