Verb to be is the first verb you should learn in english.

Uses:
1. To introduce oneself

I’m a teacher

You’re a student

He’s a doctor
2. To indicate where we are
They are in the classroom

The woman is in the garden

The baby is in the cradle
3. We use the verb TO BE with adjectives that describes how I feel.

He is sad

She is angry

PRESENT SIMPLE

We use present simple to talk about things we usually do. They are things we
do every day or every week.

For example: Daily routines
I go to school every day.

I play in the park with my friends.
Present Simple (affirmative form)

I play
You play

He plays
She plays
It plays

We play
You play
They play

The third person singular is formed
by adding an S to the base verb ;
He plays with the ball
Present Simple (negative Form)

I don’t play
You don’t play

He doesn’t play
She doesn’t play
It doesn’t play

DON’T is used as an auxiliary verb in
negative sentences.

DOESN’T is used as an auxiliary verb in
negative sentences with the third person
of singular
