Implementation of Business Planning and Simulation (BPS) software to allow top down forecasting across all
business functions. Including Administration of BPS from set up of master data to end user access. Rollout of
BPS included planning, training and co-ordination of employees across all functions in the use of the tool and

Finance Lead - Roll out of Symphony Project – Worldwide Roche initiative to redefine the accountabilities

Pharmaceutical Industry. This required major restructure of cost centres and total update of chart of accounts plus
alignment of all systems that integrated with SAP. Comprehensive training was developed and rolled out across
the company. This Project impacted the entire company and was implemented at financial year end with no

Purchase to Pay Project – reconciliation of goods receipts and invoice payments between SAP and our
consumable purchasing software (ARIBA). I identified an issue where the two systems were not aligned and costs
for services being duplicated or overstated. A new process was developed and implemented and training
provided to all users. On a monthly basis users can now run a report and reconcile all open purchase orders. This
has eliminated all duplications and over charging. After reconciling all old purchase orders $500k+ of costs were
returned to the business.
Finance for Non Finance – team collaboration to develop materials and deliver training to non-finance personnel.
A concise guide of financial and accounting terminology, finance tools and key contacts was rolled out across the
company using a tailored approach for stakeholders needs. A three way mapping tool was also developed and
rolled out – to simplify coding of costs and ensure that users “get it right the first time”.
Headcount Reporting Alignment – review of headcount reporting flows to eliminate differences in headcount
between HR CHRIS system and SAP. Resulting in an automatic reconciled headcount upload to SAP reducing
