Bangladesh is a country of about 156million people including nearly 7.81
million of slum people. This paper investigates 28 years data for 1986- 2014
periods on the living standard of slum dwellers of Bangladesh. It presents
the different forms of deprivations, sufferings and miseries of slum people
from basic needs including social, constitutional and economic rights.
More specifically, the wretchedness of slum dwellers in housing, drinking
water, sanitation, food intake, healthcare, education, employment, income
patterns, social status and security, economic and public assistance has
been explored in this paper. In addition, poverty scenario and services of
social organization among slum people has been focused in this paper.
Finally, it recommends some policies to improve the living conditions of
slum dwellers in Bangladesh.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between salespersons selling skills and customer satisfaction. Those skills include interpersonal, salesmanship and technical skills. The research is designed by a model. The model replicates a relationship of selling skills and customer satisfaction. Cronbach Alpha is calculated to evaluate the reliability of the study. Sample data was collected through online and on spot survey. The findings show that there is a strong relationship between salespersons selling skills and customer satisfaction. Technical skills contributed more to the customer satisfaction. Moreover, customer is not satisfied with current condition of hardware market and selling skills scored very low. The study finally suggests SMEs of Khulna City to take steps for improving salespersons selling skills as those are related to customer satisfaction thus relates to organizational performance

It is frequently applied to living organisms, and most of the time to humans. Bangladesh has an estimated 2015 population of 160.4 million, up from the 2013 estimate of 156.5 million. This makes Bangladesh the 8th most populous country in the world. The country has a population density of 1,033 people per square kilometer (2,677/square mile), which ranks 12th in the world.

- 9. Education Problem Over Population creates educational problems too. It is an extraordinary job to get admission in schools, colleges and university. For twenty seats, there may be two thousand candidates.
- 10. Treatment Problem: The large number of population creates the treatment problems too. There is only one qualified doctor for every 25,000 village people on the average. They also do not get proper and sufficient medicine.
- 11. Unemployment Problem: According to study of International Labor Organization(ILO) the rate of growth of unemployment in Bangladesh currently is 3.7 percent. The number of the unemployed in Bangladesh now is estimated at 30 million. According to another estimate, every year 2.7 million young persons are becoming eligible for jobs whereas only about 0.7 million of them are getting employment.
- 12. Traffic Jam • Traffic Jam is one of the most irritating problems in Bangladesh. Everyone feels it but none seems to think over this unhappy situation as prevails in Bangladesh. • It has been reported that at present 80 thousand cars,40 thousand auto-rickshaws, 16 thousand trucks, 1500 buses and 22,500 other vehicles are operating in the Dhaka Metropolitan area.
