This filter plant located in Bandhabahal Colony, Jharsuguda, Odisha treats 7.26 ml of water per day. It receives raw water through a 7 km long 300 mm diameter pipe from OPGC, IB Thermal. The water is filtered through a multi-step process involving storage in raw water tanks, aeration, clarification, and filtration through sand media beds before being stored in a 800 cubic meter clear water tank. The plant has pumps and tanks to move the water through each stage of the treatment process.
