Editor's Notes
How many times have you started out the door, and cannot find your keys or phone? If you are taking several courses at once, don’t spend all of your time on one course while other deadlines loom on the horizon.
Sounds simplistic, but the benefits of keeping your physical space organized go far beyond simply knowing where your car keys are hiding. Studies have shown that having your physical space organized makes thinking easier. When our physical space is hectic, then our thoughts are hectic. If you are feeling overwhelmed, spending 15 min to organize one small area in your home or office may be the thing to bring order to your thoughts as well.
Build in enough studying time into your schedule so that if something comes up, you can shift it into another slot during the week.
Don’t think about other things while you are doing the other. Set specific times to do bills, to do chores, or others. Delegate if possible.
