Stop Procrastination!
ü Make a Study Schedule
In a 24-hour weekday, you only have
about 5 hours after your school day
of “You Time” which includes
completing homework and studying.
Creating a study schedule helps you
balance school work and FUN!
ü Use your Planner
Daily distractions can prevent you
from getting your work done. Use
your planner to record assignments
and schedule study sessions for
assessments.
ü Set Priorities
Always start your toughest or
longest subject first, as you will be
tired later in the day and may not be
focused and working to full potential.
ü Communicate
Tell your parents and/or study
partner what you plan to accomplish.
This will keep you accountable!
ü Create Time Limits Sometimes when we are doing things
we don’t enjoy, we tend to work
slowly. Set a timer to encourage
yourself to complete a task. Once you
start, push through until you are
finished.
Offer Yourself Rewards when you FINISH!
