LEBANESE
HOUSE
The Phoenix, the firebird that comes from Para-
dise, lives five hundred years feeding on aromatic
herbs and filling the air with its heavenly voice,
before it perishes and burns in fire. It would then
rebirth and rise from the ashes to live another five
hundred years.
What does it mean to go through a rebirth?
Reincarnation, also known as rebirth or transmi-
gration, is the philosophical or religious concept
that the non-physical essence of a living being
begins a new life in a different physical form or
body after biological death.
The concept is: Rebirth
To reflect the concept of rebirth in the look and
feel of the interior I’ve adapted Transitional Design
style.

OPHTHALMOLOGIST
CLINIC
ABOUTTHE CONCEPT
Light enters the eye through the cornea. ...
The cornea bends the light, it passes through the
pupil, and then it hits the lens. ...
Next, light passes through the vitreous humor. ...
Finally, the light reaches the retina. When light hits
the retina (a light-sensitive layer of tissue at the
back of the eye), special cells called photore-
ceptors turn light into electrical signals. These
electrical signals travel from the retina through the
optic nerve to the brain. Then the brain turns the
signals into the images we see.
The process of bending light to produce a focused
image on the retina is called “refraction”..
The concept is: Refraction
To reflect the concept of refraction in the look and
feel of the interior
I’ve adapted Deconstructivism Design style.

RACHAYA
ABOUTTHE CONCEPT
The Rashaya Citadel, also known as the Citadel of
Independence, has been declared a national
monument, having been first built as a palace by
the Shihab family in the 18th century.
Under the French Mandate and on 11 November
1943, Rachaya witnessed the arrest and the
imprisonment of the Lebanese national leaders in
its citadel by the Free French troops Bechara El
Khoury (later the first post-independence presi-
dent of Lebanon), Riad El-Solh (later the prime
minister), Salim Takla, Camille Chamoun, Adel
Osseiran and Abdelhamid Karameh. This led to a
national and international pressure in demand for
their release, and eventually obliging France to
obey. On November 22, 1943, the prisoners were
released, and that day was declared the Lebanese
Independence Day.

TREE HOUSE
ABOUTTHE CONCEPT
Starting from one of the most important and
famous symbols of yoga which is the lotus flower.
To a yogi, the Lotus flower symbolizes the expan-
sion of the soul and spiritual awakening. The roots
of a lotus are grounded in the mud (earth/materi-
alism). The stem grows up through the water
(growth/life experience) and blooms above the
water, in the sunlight (awakening/enlightenment).
Also the Lotus flower is regarded in many differ-
ent cultures, especially in eastern religions, as a
symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration
and rebirth. Its characteristics are a perfect
analogy for the human condition: even when its
roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces
the most beautiful flower.
The concept is Rebirth
