Bablo Amir has a rich background experience and expertise that makes him uniquely qualified for
positions in logistics and operations. In addition to having a diploma in education secondary, he did a
certificate in strategic procurement and logistics management which saw him through a number of
experience successes in his work under various capacities. Additionally, Bablo is currently pursuing a
Uganda National Diploma in Purchasing and supplies management at Northern Institute of Business
Studies. He is computer literate and has valid driving license
Currently, Bablo is working for Zaitun and Salama foundation as a caretaker entrusted with the
responsibility of managing the new born CBO in Gulu
Bablo worked for Winrock international under a USAID funded program – NUDEIL as a logistics
Manager basically managing a fleet of fourteen vehicles, 29 motorcycles and 11 generator sets as well
as an office store inclusive of human resource closely attached to the these assets and provision of
administrative support.
As a fleet controller with Catholic Relief Services under Aids Relief & LEAD projects funded by
USAID, he built his capacity in managing a fleet of twelve vehicles and 15 motorcycles while
stretching his support to the partner organizations who were working under the same program
With Catholic Relief Services under DAP project funded by USAID, Bablo worked as an End-Use
Checker where he developed his skills in monitoring construction material flow & food ration
distributions and at the same time recording and tallying Food For Work (FFW) tasks in order to
determine required food ration for a defined period of time as well as entering food distribution data
into the Quarterly Web Interface Commodity Reporting (QWICR)
Bablo worked with Norwegian refugee council in a General Food Distribution (GFD) program funded
by United Nation where he gain experience in data collection, pre-planning and supervision of food
and NFI to the IDPs, OVCs and the elderly as a Field Point Supervisor.
With Acholi Religious Leaders Peace Initiative as a Volunteer Peace Animator, Bablo was exposed to
work with the community affected by the war in northern Uganda where he was able to counsel the
youth on peace promotion through reconciliation (Mato Oput) process while planning for his logistics
and accountability.
While working as a teacher with Anyadwe Girls, Gulu College and Gulu Girls Schools, besides
imparting general circular knowledge in bio-chem., he took up the task of offering carrier guidance to
the students and he headed the games and sports department with elements of logistics planning.
