3. Problem statement
The data store in ceph storage system are not fully safe due to the some factor such as :
• accidental
deletion
• file corruption
• drive failure
• Malware
• software bugs
• theft
• damage

4. objectives
•To study / do research on OpenStack cloud platform and Ceph storage system respectively.
•To configure OpenStack cloud platform.
•To configure Ceph that attach to OpenStack.
•To create one of the automated feature in Ceph which is auto backup.
•To configure task scheduler for backing up the data in Ceph.
•To integrate and test Ceph storage system running in Openstack cloud platform with automation
special to autobackup.

5. Limitation
Maintaining and monitoring process need to be done regularly to
make sure the system is functional and have enough drive space after
implementation of auto-backup system in Ceph.

•Ceph storage system can backing up the data stored by itself based on
scheduling that has been set up.
•The data that had been back up is able to restore successfully.
•The data store is more secure as the system can back up by itself when it come
to some factor that can cause data lost.
