The narrator describes having a profound spiritual awakening experience while living alone in a garden shed in rural Australia. After meditating intensely and following Krishnamurti's suggestion to make "no effort", the narrator had a vision of their "disowned self" which dissolved into awareness. This led to a boundaryless state of consciousness where the narrator felt indistinguishable from the universe. Over subsequent days, the narrator was able to maintain a state of unified consciousness with others and help resolve their conflicts effortlessly. However, a week later the experience had passed, and the narrator's ability to communicate at a deep level of consciousness with others was lost.
