Symptoms include morning stiffness, fever, swelling, pains, numbness, weakness, and deformity. Causes can be obesity, vitamin deficiency, injury, aging, lack of exercise, immune or metabolic dysfunction, and stress. Treatment involves medications, surgery, therapies, and assistive devices.
