This document summarizes a teacher's exploratory practice collaborative project from 2014-2016 aimed at gaining better feedback from students on business English course content and materials. The teacher implemented tools like needs analyses, mid-module feedback activities, and end of module reviews. Initial feedback revealed a mismatch between student and teacher expectations around language and business content balance. Refinements included adding vocabulary activities. The teacher found that exploring puzzles in the classroom through an action research lens transformed their teaching, added a researcher identity, and informed ongoing professional development.
