The age of my audience would be in the range of 15-25 years old.
Gender
It would be mostly males as they are more interested in hip – hop, but some females would
be in my target audience as well. The percentage split would be 75% male and 25% female.
Ethnicity
The ethnicity of my audience would be blacks as most artists are from the African –
American background and they would want to listen to them. There would also be a strong
audience in white/Caucasian people. The percentage split would be half and half between
the two.
Class
The class of my audience would be middle class as most of the music can relate to their
lifestyle and most hip hop artists were brought up middle class and even lower class.
Type of person
The typical person in my audience would be a student who maybe has a job as well. They
would shop in a fashionable store as they would want to replicate their favourite artists.
The type of movies they would watch would include action, thriller and maybe even horror.
