4. COMMON LANGUAGE RUNTIME
 The CLR is the environment where all programs using
.NET technologies are executed.
 It provides services such as code compilation, memory
allocation, and garbage collection.
 The CLR allows the execution of code across different
platforms by translating code into Intermediate
Language (IL).
 IL is a low level language that the CLR understands.
 IL is converted into machine language during execution
by the Just-in-Time (JIT) compiler.

5. .NET FRAMEWORK CLASS LIBRARY
 The .NET Framework class library works with any
.NET language, such as VB.NET, VC++.NET, and
VC#. This class library is built on the object-
oriented nature of the runtime.
 The library provides the classes that can be used in
the code to accomplish a range of common
programming tasks, such as string management,
data collections, database connectivity, and file
access.

6. BASE CLASS LIBRARY
 These are the Standard libraries of the Common
Language Infrastructure. The CLI includes the
standard Libraries in order to encapsulate a large
number of common functions, such as file reading
and writing, XML document manipulation, exception
handling, application globalization, which makes the
programmer’s job easier.

7. ASP.NET
 ASP.NET is the part of Microsoft .NET platform.
 It is a technology that allows us to build and control
dynamic Web Pages easily. ASP.NET Web pages ,
known officially, as Web Forms, are the main
building blocks for application development.
 It is provide communication between server and
client. Web Server works on request/response
model that is an integral part of client/server model.
 It is provide the programming tools. It is the major
advantage of ASP. Net.

8. SQL SERVER
 SQL SERVER is an SQL-Compliant RDBMS. SQL-
Compliant means it use the ANSI (American
National Standard Institute) version of Structure
Query Language or ‘SQL’.
 Structure Query Language is a command that allow
us to modify or retrieve information from the
Database.
 In this, the Update, Delete, Select and Insert
queries are used.
 It is provide information representation.
 It is manage the multi tables and multi stored
procedures.

9. VISUAL STUDIO 2010
 It is an integrated development environment (IDE)
from Microsoft. It is used to develop the web sites,
web applications and web services. It is supporting
different programming languages. Built-in
languages include C, C++, VB.NET, C#, F#.
Support for other languages such as M, Python and
Ruby among others is available via language
services installed separately. It is also supports
XML, HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

System’. This system will record
employee information while they join
the company. It is also generate the
reports automatically.
