2.  The founder and president of Koch Asset Management, Donald L. Koch has
over 40 years of experience in the financial industry. While working as the
senior vice president and director of research for the Federal Reserve Bank
of Atlanta from 1981 to 1984, Donald L. Koch held membership with the
Atlanta Economics Club (AEC).
A National Association for Business Economics affiliate, AEC was created
more than 40 years ago as a common-interest club for private business
enterprise economists. In 1992, AEC established the Joseph K. Heyman
Scholarship for prospective economic majors or graduate students enrolled
at a college or university in Atlanta.
Joseph K. Heyman was AEC's inaugural president and is one of only four
people to have held the position longer than one year. The Joseph K.
Heyman Scholarship has awarded over $23,000 to 39 students since its
creation. In addition to support through tuition funding, scholarship recipients
receive mentorship and advice from some of Atlanta's most highly respected
economists.
