AutoTrader Listing  Distraction 1 Ford Banner  Distraction 2 Hertz Cars Banner  Very disturbing, in a very important part of the page on the right reader first row of listings  Distraction 3 New OEM Banner as a listing in the middle of a Honda search  Distraction 4 Ford Fusion  Banner  Your Inventory their ad profit This should seriously make you wonder how much traffic is siphoned off with these ads?
Cars.com Listing  Not as bad as AutoTrader  Distraction 1 Local Classified  Banner Given its size and placement not a huge distraction but they must be getting a lot  of money for that banner to send traffic to a competing classified site Distraction 2 Hyundai  Banner
eBay Listing Honda Certified Used Banner  I would be hard pressed to call this a distraction as it is relevant to a used Honda search Verizon High speed internet Banner  Again I am hard pressed to all this a distraction given its placement  Basically nothing to distract the visitor
The  ATC VDP goes for 4 pages, photos are small even with the larger photos link  eBay VDP goes on for 30 pages lost of good size quality photos  VDP  For a Vehicle listing pictures make or break the visitor consideration. Easy to get to high quality pictures are a must.
AutoTrader VDP  Here is the dealership branding “all over the page” Mark from AutoTrader spoke about in the DealerRefresh post  http://www.dealerrefresh.com/autotrader-com-buys-homenet-automotive/   I’ll let you be the judge as to whether this is “All over the Page”  Distraction 2 Ford Banner Again this is a used Honda search  Distraction 1 Nissan Banner Distraction 3 suggestions BTW these are not your stores cars
Cars.com VDP  Here is the mega branding your getting as a dealer on Cars.com and this little bitty thing here is the phone number  Distraction 1 Chevy Banner Distraction 2 Cadillac Banner  Again this is a used Honda search
eBay VDP  No distractions of any kind  Nice 3 rd  party Seller validation & link o the sellers eBay store  More on the next page
eBay VDP  All the relevant information in one place  Everything below this page is completely customizable by the dealer  Not one single banner ad in the VDP More on the next page
eBay VDP  Every thing from here down completely customizable by the dealer  More on the next page
eBay VDP  This is what I mean by good size quality pictures  More on the next page
eBay VDP  Much better “Why Buy Here” template and better placed in the middle of the pictures  More on the next page
