Artist trading cards (ATCs) are small artworks meant to be traded rather than sold. They started as a way for artists to directly connect and communicate through exchanging small pieces of art. ATC clubs have regular meetings where members create art on small cards based on themes and techniques, then trade and collect cards from other members. Participating in an ATC club can help build bridges within UX design teams by breaking down silos, fostering creativity and confidence, and strengthening communication and trust between team members across disciplines.
