The teacher planned to teach 20 4th grade students about the digestive system. There were 10 girls and 10 boys, with 8 African American students, 2 Chinese students, and 10 white students. The objectives were for students to learn the main parts of the digestive system and recite them with 95% accuracy after discussing a poster, learning a song, and completing a webquest. Students would use computers and paper to do a webquest and learn from a digestive system poster and YouTube video. The teacher would evaluate students by checking their participation and asking questions about the digestive system content.

Analyze Learner
Teaching parts of the digestive system to 4th graders. There are 20 students 10 girls and 10 boys.

My students will be introduced to the digestive system and will recite the main parts after
discussing a poster in class, learning a song, and participating in a webquest with 95% accuracy
by the end of the day.

Students will use computers and paper provided. The projector will be used to show a video.
Utilize Media and Materials
Students will use computers and paper to complete a webquest provided. Students will also go
over a poster with the digestive system parts labeled that will hang in the classroom. They will
also watch a video on YouTube that will teach them a fun song about the digestive system.
Require Learner Participation
I will ask the class questions about what they found out about the digestive system while doing
the webquest, and introduce what we will be discussing Tuesday.
Evaluate and Revise
I will evaluate my students by making sure my class participates in the webquest, YouTube
video, and poster information. I will also ask questions throughout the day about the digestive
system and what was asked on the webquest.
