The Challenge?

Your challenge is to look at BREAD in a new way. 
Create as much
      "value" as possible starting with ONE LOAF OF BREAD.


             You can use any type of bread you like,
            and measure value in any way you want.
So what’s our   BIG idea?


Bread4Bread
(B4B)
Use your “bread” to give bread to a hungry family
Just as the breast cancer stamp raised money
           for breast cancer research. . .




The breast cancer stamp, sold by the United States Post Office, costs 11 cents more than a standard first-class postage stamp. The
additional cost of the stamp is given to several charities to support breast cancer research.
The Bread for Bread campaign will raise money
                 for ending hunger.




Bread for Bread will work with with large bakeries ( e.g., Wonder Bread, Arnold Breads) to raise money to fight hunger. Bread for Bread
partners will charge an additional 15 cents per loaf and these funds will be transferred to Bread for Bread to feed the poor. Bakers will also
give surplus bread to local charities (e.g., Second Serving, local food kitchens) to fight hunger more locally.
