Process Development Engineer
Designed, developed and deployed a Windows application written in C# that uses image processing techniques from the
Open CV library. The application used feature detection of a live image feed to calibrate the die tip of an extrusion machine.
Designed various prototype parts using Solidworks for laser cutting, water cutting and 3D printing.
Performed some basic design and manufacture of milled parts, predominantly manual lathe and mill. Was given training in
the use of the machines.
Created standard operating documentation to accompany my application and design.
Worked on projects with a set deployment date vital for manufacturing to continue.
