Plante Moran Tech Summit 2019.
PDf of the presentation to over 100 CIOs on Artificial Intelligence and its impact on society, business and culture. Also includes Digital Twin.
This presentation is an exploration of what Information Technology will look like in 2021. We have spread our predictions across three categories: IT Trends, IT Practice and Impacts on Everyday Life.
Emerging opportunities for business in the Internet of Things landscapeClaro Partners Inc.
The Internet of Things (IoT) presents a rapidly growing opportunity for companies in the technology space. However, the ecosystem of the IoT is complex, fragmented and has many dimensions (products, services, companies, geographies). Claro Partners recently completed a project to understand the Internet of Things landscape as it stands now, and to identify opportunity spaces within it. In this session we will build on this research to argue that the future of the IoT lies in value-added services built across platforms and devices, that create meaningful experiences and enhance people’s lives.
We have created an interactive Internet of Things business landscape, mapping 350 initiatives across 100 value propositions. Through this map, we will preview the vast landscape of value propositions across the IoT and the new business models they launch. We will uncover the opportunities that arise when creators look beyond simple track-and-trace applications or remote-control mechanisms and make the leap towards products which offer emotional benefits to users and enable meaningful object-mediated dialogues between people.
Keynote presented at 4YFN / Mobile World Congress • Barcelona 25 February 2014
This keynote explains about the IoT Landscape and its examples for everyone who is interested learning Internet of Things. If you have any questions always follow IoT Geeks. We are social and make use of us!

Next Five years in Mobile
“Marketing as we know it is over. More than ever mobile devices are becoming our ears, eyes and brains. ‘Nowness’ takes its toll.”
Says Gerd Leonhard, (media)Futurist and one of the keynote speakers during Mobile Convention Amsterdam on the 22nd and 23th of May in the Beurs van Berlage. Leonhard states that marketers are nowadays looking at gauging feelings and pleasure by using electronic gadgets that can read brain activity.
Leonhard reveals several interesting mobile developments in the future, for example about Google Glass and Over-the-top-content (OTT), what these developments mean for consumers and marketers and whether or not ‘offline’ the new luxury is.
This presentation was delivered at Goa Engineering College, Farmagudi, Goa. It was attended by the BE IT Students on the occasion of the installation of the Student Council. The endeavour was to present the latest trending technologies and upcoming career opportunities in the fields of digital media, mobile environments, augmented reality & 3-D Printing. Also dwelt a little bit on Steve Jobs, his journey with Apple. Also touched upon Entrepreneurship, mentors, where one can move from the concept of getting a job to giving a job.
Based on interviews with over 60 IBMers, clients, and experts, we examined how cognitive technology and approaches are being applied for the public good. https://www.ibm.com/watson/advantage-reports/ai-social-good.html

About the author:
Daniel Tunkelang is a data science and engineering executive who has built and led some of the strongest teams in the software industry. He studied computer science and math at MIT and has a PhD in computer science from CMU. He was a founding employee and chief scientist of Endeca, a search pioneer that Oracle acquired for $1.1B. He led a local search team at Google. He was a director of data science and engineering at LinkedIn, and he established their query understanding team. Daniel is a widely recognized writer and speaker. He is frequently invited to speak at academic and industry conferences, particularly in the areas of information retrieval, web science, and data science. He has written the definitive textbook on faceted search (now a standard for ecommerce sites), established an annual symposium on human-computer interaction and information retrieval, and authored 24 US patents. His social media posts have attracted over a million page views. Daniel advises and consults for companies that can benefit strategically from his expertise.
From “Connected” to “Smart” Home: the future is IoT and InsurtechAndrea Silvello
Our lives are starting to be ruled by devices, wearables and other items that are in one way or another connected to the internet and in some cases between each other. We are now at the beginning of a journey which is still to be shaped by technology, practical applications and privacy and security implications of the Internet of Things and interconnectivity. One of the sectors that has started to grow in these last years is connected insurance, in particular motor telematics insurance which uses black boxes in order to gather driving behavior data in order to offer customized insurance policies and better loyalty schemes to clients. This ongoing and successful experience in telematics has served as a benchmark for other areas of connected insurance like home.
