Artifex Tailor is a continuing project that organizes weekend clubs and workshops in Astoria, New York to help exchange and share fashion and style ideas among young, talented locals. The goal is to provide a space for people interested in refining, redesigning, and reusing vintage clothes through crafts and experimentation in order to reduce clothing waste, provoke creativity, and promote sustainable fashion. The project also aims to connect potential talents with career opportunities in the fashion industry through a social network platform.
