Encounters Arts
Since 2003 we have delivered over forty projects working with thousands of people in
arts, regeneration, community, environmental, education, reconciliation and
rehabilitation contexts
We use the transformational power of the arts to inspire creativity, dialogue and
change between people of all ages and backgrounds
We offer imaginative spaces and processes for people to explore their
relationship with themselves, each other, where they live and the wider
natural world
“Encounters let the flow of
materials come from the local
tap and changed the
landscape”
Alan Deadman, Sheffield
Culture Board
We work by....
Offering participatory interventions
that facilitate exchange between
people of all ages and cultures
Co-authoring evolving artworks with
people and places about the past
present and future
Adapting and bringing to localities
our tried and tested models of
creative community involvement or
tailor making new participatory
approaches.
Partnering with organisations from
the creative, community, voluntary
and statutory sectors.
