Sarah Smith, aged 40, was stabbed in the chest at a local convenience store while trying to save the owner from an armed robbery. She remains in critical condition in the hospital while police search for the thief. The X Factor TV show has seen declining viewership in recent years due to a lack of variety in performances. A 68-year-old grandmother found an intruder stealing items from her home in the early hours of the morning. Police are searching for a known thief active in the area. A gang of teenagers known as "The Dropouts" have been stealing cars in Little Hulton over the past three weeks, and one member has been arrested while police seek information on the remaining thieves.

BRAVE SHOPPER STABBED.
A shopper at a local convenience store was brutally attacked and stabbed at a local convenience
store whilst trying to save the owner. Sarah Smith, aged 40, was doing her regular visit to local
convenience store Mollies, when suddenly; she was stabbed in the chest for trying to save the owner
from being attacked by a thief. The thief was holding the knife at the owner behind the counter
shouting at him to give him the money out of the till. Mother of three Sarah heroically walked up to
the masked man and tried to push him out of the way, but unfortunately he reacted and stabbed her
in the chest with a kitchen knife. Police were called to the scene immediately, and just in time to get
fragile Sarah to a hospital. However, the thief fled not long after attacking Sarah.
The thief known to the police for previous convictions has evaded capture for the past 3 months.
Chief Michael Wingmen gave a statement to our reporter on the incident, “Sarah will be seen as a
local Hero, unfortunately she still remains in hospital in a critical condition, the police will stop at
nothing to catch this thief” There have been pictures posted around the area of the thief locally
known as “The Thieving Git.” Sarah still remains in a critical state, and her family and friends are
calling out to everyone in the area to help capture the man who has put her in this horrific and
devastating matter. If you have any information or question, see details on our website.
ROCK BOTTOM REVIEWS (Optional)
One of the most famous TV programmes in history has come into a downward spiral as less people
are viewing the show. The X Factor has celebrated its 10 years of producing the UKs finest voices,
however, recent results have shown that the show has struggled to capture their regular views of
millions over the past 3 years. Judges of the x factor have stated that less people will be watching
the show due to no variety in any performance. “We’re really struggling to get something new to the
show; we’re experiencing shocking results and have got the lowest views yet. Being on the show for
10 years and I have even noticed that the talent is becoming somewhat repetitive.” – Louis Walsh,
Judge on the X factor for the past 10 years. The X factor has brought some of the biggest names in
our music industry, including Leona Lewis, One Direction and the latest Sam Bailey. But recently, the
number of people watching and voting has rapidly decreased. The show is going to have to pull some
very large string in order to improve their static productions.
THUG BURGLER RETURNS.
A pensioner was subjected to a disturbing awakening in the early hours of Monday morning when
she found a thug in her front room mid-stealing. Lucy Carter, 68, was sleeping when she heard her
German Sheppard Rufus, barking continuously downstairs at 2:34am, as she went to assist the dog;
she was taken aback by a shadowy figure standing in her front room. She quoted “I was tempted to

let the dog out, but that would make me a no better human being than the man standing in my
lounge with my mother’s pendent in his hand and a bag of my most valuables in the other. The
figure stopped and looked at Lucy, then darted into the hallway and through the door in which he
came through. Grandmother of 4 Lucy has now had to go through several changes including new
locks and a bed for Rufus in the lounge instead of in the kitchen. This is ideal to keep her home safe
and locked away from anymore targets.
Police are on the hunt for the local thug known as “Skippy.” He’s been known for stealing from local
houses in 2009 and put away for 2 years. But, recently he has been put back on the streets a free
man. He was also seen walking out of a drive way at 3:07am and a call was made 20 minutes later
reporting a stolen watch, purse and laptop from a house on Oldham Crescent. We would like anyone
to step forward with any information they may have to put this thug life to an end.
GOING, GOING, GONE!
Car crime is on the rise again in Little Hulton, with a gang known to the police as a “The Dropouts”
targeting the area. A group of teenagers known as “The Dropouts” have been seen smashing car
windows and stealing them in Little Hulton. The group have been doing the deed for the past 3
weeks and reportedly only taken place in the middle of the night. Their main victims are cars parked
down the side streets and also parked at the back of the council houses situated on Grand Court.
Although well lit; no one is around to tell them differently. Police have caught one of the ‘Gang
members’ Josh Gellor, 19, and has been put into custody with a sentence awaiting him within the
week for theft and damage on the stolen vehicles. Josh will not give the police any information
about the remaining members, but told the police to “back off, we need the money.”
Police Constable Sharon Broad told reporters “These teenagers have been corrupt for the last 3
weeks, an end shall be put on their games, and we expect the public to come forward and help us to
capture the criminals and bring justice to the community.”
The captured criminal told police there are 3 other members who are still on the loose, but other
information is becoming a task to get hold of. From what police have found out, the members of the
group are connected from their school Harrop Fold. If you have any information, or live in LH and
want to keep in contact with the police, phone our office and we will direct you.
