The document discusses the benefits of computer camps for children. It notes that camps help children learn skills needed for future careers that involve technology, even if they are not interested in coding. The document provides an example of TechSmart Academy, which offers various programming camps. It also shares advice for choosing camps, such as considering the child's age when selecting a programming language to learn. The document emphasizes that camps should make learning fun and engaging for kids.

The meaning of Education has changed with the changing time. Now, how to read and write a language is not the real education. It is more than that and hence, there is always something new happening in the Education sector.
Social Storytelling, Student Orientation, and a New Way to KnowledgeJennifer Montminy
Each year, new-student orientation is a blur of new people, new places, and (lots and lots) of new information that is overwhelming at best. This makes delivering content that is both educational and entertaining a perennial challenge for orientation planners, which is where social media comes in. By now we’re all using social media to market our institutions, but what about using it to engage and teach our incoming students? At Penn State, incoming students learn about technology resources at the university by following Jordan, an imaginary student, on his social media journey through the technology resources, failures, and (ultimately) successes during his first year at Penn State. Complete with corny humor and silly gifs, the presentation makes potentially dry content relatable and memorable, and gives students both a physical and digital way to engage with Jordan through in-person questions and a hashtag challenge in the backchannel. In this session, Montminy and Motycki will discuss how you can use social media, storytelling, and student presenters to increase student engagement, interest, and retention during orientation sessions. They will walk attendees through the strategy behind this approach, how it was executed, and the positive (and lasting) impact this session had at the university.

THE WEB-BASED EDUCATION JOURNEY: A CONSTANT LIFELINEcscpconf
E-learning has revolutionized our realm in more than just a listable number of ways. But it took
a paradigm shift when it entered the threshold of the varsity system. With the prevailing spoonfeeding
era, are the students really ¬industry ready? We answer that by confirming a fact: webbased
learning has become the oxygen of freshers in the IT Industry instead of the traditional
learning done through graduation. Furthermore, are university enforced e-learning assessment
systems a true representation of a student's proficiency? This paper is a peep into what webbased
e-learning systems are to a student of today's world, by giving an overview of universitylevel
e-learning in India deploying an example from SRM University's organizational
framework. It assesses a key e-learning trend, the implementation of which bridges the gap
between universities and the industry. It is proposed to provide constructive feedback to the elearning
community and shine some light on areas of scope for future developments.

The pandemic caused both the government and society in general to mandate specific rules on everyone. And the education system is experiencing challenges it has never experienced before. The good news is, schools are doing everything they can with their limited resources to provide high-quality education as possible.
How To Get Started In Tech With No ExperienceUdemezue John
The tech industry in the US has generated more than 200,000 new jobs every year since 2010, with more jobs still being created as we speak.
Tech Jobs globally are surging at an all-time high with more people’s talents in demand than ever, and new roles being created as a result of the overload in the industry. The need for more division of labour has made Tech a juicy role for anyone with or without a degree.
Before now, we had the nerdy people constitute the majority, but now it’s becoming a different case. We now have tech roles for code and no-code individuals.

Put Computer Camp on Your Kids’ MustDo List ~
Our kids are growing up in a digital world. Here’s
why a computer coding or programming camp can
help them get ahead — and how to find one they’ll
love.
Attend any college open house, and you’ll hear plenty of talk about the
careers of the future. The common theme? Today’s high school kids need
an education that will prepare them for jobs that already exist, but even
more so they will need to be ready to step into jobs that haven’t been
dreamed up yet. If that’s the case for kids in their late teens, it will be even
more of an issue for those who haven’t left middle school yet. That’s why
Mallika Thoppay, founder of TechSmart Academy in the San Francisco Bay
Area, says that all kids — even those who aren’t really interested in coding
or programming — may benefit from trying a techbased camp at least once
in their lifetime.
“Technology is playing a huge role in our lives,” she says. “The child is
using apps on their phone, playing video games, visiting websites. They’re
doing these, even if they’re not a technologyoriented child. These camps
give them an idea of what goes on behind the scenes to make these apps,
games, and websites look and work the way they do.”
