2. Within unit 8 we are crewing a
Contemporary Dance Show called
“AMALGAMATION” that is taking place at
Arley Hall and Gardens on the 12th and 13th
of February 2014.
Here are three pictures of Arley Hall Show the exterior and the two rooms that
the performances will take place in. (on the right is The Drawing Room, on the
left is the Gallery. Of course these rooms will be empty for our event)

3. AMALGAMATION will be a Contemporary Dance Show
that will take place on Wednesday 12th and Thursday
13th February 2014.
The show will be split between two rooms at Arley Hall
and Gardens. The Drawing Room and The Gallery.
The show requires the audience to be split between the
two room. While one half of the show is going on in one
room the other half will take place in the other room so
both audiences see a different first half of the show.
There will then be an interval, once this is over the
audiences will swap rooms and the other half of the
show. This will give them two different dance shows
before and after the interval.

4. At Arley Hall I will be an assistant stage manager.
This role will entail me organising and overseeing the get
in/set up.
I must also make sure that any props or set are
organised and ready to be used before individual
performances, this includes finding an appropriate place
for them to be stored during the performance. I’m also
involved in sourcing props if they are not yet present but
are required for a performance.
I may also be needed to help other departments such as
wardrobe if they’re in need of help.
I am also needed to be present at the rehearsal day.

will enter here
One half of the show will
take place here in the
Gallery.
At the same time the
other half of the
show will take place
here in the Drawing
Room.
As ASM for the Gallery I will
be located here through out
the show when I am not
needed elsewhere to keep
performers on schedule.

7. Both shows will take place at the same
time but the audience will be split and both
halves will get the chance to watch both
performances. After the interval the
audiences will swap rooms meaning that
they watch the other performances.
