trapped there. When you don’t floss, you leave this mess in place to sit and fester,
which can cause cavities and tooth decay over time.
“Flossing every day is essential for good oral health, gum disease prevention and
clean breath,” says the Arizona dental implant dentist. “You wouldn’t shower
without washing under your arms, for example, so why would you clean your teeth
without flossing? The difference here is that neglecting to floss can ultimately lead
to some pretty nasty oral diseases.”
