Throughout history, the death penalty has been a prominent part of society. In ancient
Mesopotamia, the death penalty was seen as retribution for certain crimes, and to this day, is now a
common practice in the United States. Before, when the United States were still colonies, the death
penalty had been carried out by hanging and other various methods but today in the modern age, the
Unites States method of execution in most states is lethal injection (Issitt). Unlike previous
methods, such as electrocution and the firing squad, the lethal injection is virtually painlessly due
to certain drugs being injected into the patient that put the patient to sleep during the process. Due
to its medical nature, medical personnel, such as anesthesiologists are needed to administer the
drugs, but is it ethical for them to participate in the execution of people?

Introduction
Food waste is one of the most wasteful forms of consumption in Australia. Research shows that we
commonly waste food because too much food was cooked; goes off before the best before date,
too much has been purchased, inadequate stock or poorly planned meal and menus. (Love Food

typically food and green waste. Over 4.2 million tonnes of food waste is disposed to landfill in

The USSL diagram classification of groundwater samples has been shown in figure 8. The samples
are classified as C2 S1, C3 S1, and C4 S1 categories. 23 samples (47 percent) were placed in C2 S1
class. The C2 S1 class points to medium saline water and low sodium amount which poses no
hazard of sodium exchange for agricultural usage in every type of soils. 45 percent of groundwater
samples (22 samples) were in the C3 S1 class, meaning that water is highly saline, sodium is low
and there is little hazard of sodium exchange. The remaining 4 samples (8 percent) were classified
in the C4 S1 class.
Fig 9, shows the spatial USSL Classification diagram of groundwater samples in Sarab plain. The
C2 S1 was found in the east part of the study area. In this part of the study area, the aquifer is
recharged from streams. Therefore, groundwater quality there has good quality. In the middle part
of study area, the groundwater quality is deteriorated due to dissolution of gypsum and salts
minerals in Miocene formations, cation exchange and urban wastewater. The C4 S1 was found in
the west and north part of the study area and salinity and SAR has increased in the west part of
study area due to Talkheh Rud river saline water (Asadollahfardi et al., 2011).

1.1.What is the right to national self determination?
The right to self determination is the right of a group to determine political action concerning the
group and its members. In this case, the right to national self determination is the right of nations to
have the institutions to make the political decisions that are of primary concern to the nation and its
members (Shorten 2012: 44; Miller 1997: 81; Margalit and Raz 1990: 440). The right exists in
international law enshrined in the Civil and Political Human Rights Covenant, and yet there is
much controversy about its content, its bearers and how it ought to be implemented (Margalit and
Raz 1990: 439). Further, Shorten explains, the right can be satisfied through a variety of political
arrangements, ranging from the establishment of sovereign statehood, to the granting of limited
rights of self government within a given territorial jurisdiction (2012: 44).

Fallen Art Short Film Themes
This short film criticizes war by showing us that war is bad in general, and violence is senseless.
Fallen Art who was directed by Tomasz Baginski showed three themes in his short film setting
points on why war is bad through three different characters. His first theme is the man in a higher
power uniform that s kicking the soldiers off the ladder who represents power in the military.
Then the old guy in a lab coat taking the pictures, represents the value of military life by taking
pictures of the soldiers once they land from the fall. Lastly the young fat guy towards the end of the
filmrepresents waras entertainment by creating art through the pictures given to him by the old guy.
I believe the argument the director is trying to make through his film is that violence is senseless,
and we should take in consideration those who are willing to go into war knowing the risks, and

We use all these different kinds of media to consume war as entertainment, and not worry about
those lives at stake. We has normal citizens don t know what it s actually like

The statistics of prevalence for child sex abuse varies because of all the unique cases of child
sex abuse that is reported. Although, statistic show that one in three girls will be sexually abused
at one point in the United States and boys are one in seven to be sexually abused (Anderson,
2014). Children are not susceptible to crime as shown in the statistics because predators like
pedophiles have fetishes towards little boy or girls. One study found that 10% of children
experienced or came close to experiencing a form of sexual violence which would include rape,
sexual assault, or harassment (Anderson, 2014). The numbers shown in the statistics are higher
because of the unreported cases. 30% of cases involving child sex abuse are reported to the local
authorities and 73% to 87% of female adolescents who are abused sexually are not treated or
identified by by the community (Anderson, 2014). Child sex abuse is also costly because it costs
the United States an estimated $103 billion for the abuse and negligence (Anderson, 2014). On
another note, 80% of children who have been sexually abused have symptoms of PTSD (Anderson,

3 Results And Discussion 3.1 Wear Test Figure 4 shows the results of loss in weight for the
samples as a function with the applied load. It has been found that the wear behavior of
unreinforced alloy is higher compared with the composites. This behavior back to the hard
ceramic material protects the surface from the severe contact [30 32]. The results given in
figure 5 show that the weight loss decreases as the percentage of the nano SiC particles increases
from 0.5% to 4.5%. This could be occurred because the ceramic material on the composite
surface protects the matrix from severe contact. Figure 4 reveals also, that when the applied
load increases, the wear rate of all investigated samples increases. Conditions of the severe wear
