2. Observation Lab
Assignment:
– visit at least 6 stores
– spend time observing certain features and details
unnoticed before
Have I been paying attention?!

3. A nicely lit store, where one would go to buy a
new cooking pan or a certain cleaning product

4. But who would have
thought they also
sold DVDs?
• And had incredible
discounts on
games?!

5. The neighbourhood toy store, where I
sometimes go and look for fun games to play
with my friends

6. They still sell my
beloved Thomas the
Tank Engine toys…
Childhood
memories!!!
And they also have
impressive discounts
for Lego toys!
It’s so nice to see my
childhood toys are still
popular!

7. The store where one would find everything from
shampoo to aspirins to mascara and chocolate

8. Who would have thought
that the store I
normally buy my hair
dye would be the
place I find the
perfect game for next
summer’s vacation?!
Greek beaches,
Here I come 

9. The neighbourhood
supermarket! With
great discounts for
meat and vegetables,
it always offers
something extra! Like
these Orange birdies:

10. And it’s the store that let’s you save money when
preparing for the best holiday of the year!
I love Halloween because of all the sweets you get to
eat, so I stocked up on my favourites for tonight!

11. The store I hardly never enter because I am
scared I’d fall in love with a cute&cuddly furry
thing and I would not be able to take it home…

12. It looks quite sad in the evening. It is very quiet
and the one employee seems to be nowhere...
I am not allowed to take pictures of the
animals…
But I can tell you
that the 3 bunnies
are sleeping like tiny
fluffy babies!

13. The supermarket that
lets you take Kermit
the Frog home
as well as many
other bonuses!

14. And the perfect place to buy sweets in
preparation for the Dutch version of Halloween:
Sint Maartenfeest
takes place
on the
11th of November.
I had never heard
of this celebration
until today!

15. Conclusion
Although I had a good knowledge of what most
of the 6 stores contained, they managed to
surprise me with discounts and products I would
not have expected to find.
And I am still thinking about those 3 bunnies!
I haven’t really been paying attention…
