The document discusses the concept of the Akashic record, which is described as an alleged compendium of all human events, thoughts, words, emotions, and intent ever to have occurred in the past, present, and future. It is believed by some to be encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the astral light or ether. The document provides perspectives on the Akashic record from various religious texts and esoteric philosophies. It also speculates on what an Akashic record may mean for information science and the theoretical study of information.

Christian and Other World Views: A Power Point. A lesson on world views, including the Christian world view, and the world views of naturalism, postmodernism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jaina, Sikkhism, Confucianism and Islam. First taught by John Oakes in Manila 1/16/2010.
Reasons For Belief: A class taught by John Oakes, PhD at Harvard University 10/16/2009. The subject is reasons to believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. See EFC store for the recording
Dr. John Oakes taught a class on Modernism and Scientific Materialism at the 2015 International Christan Evidence Conference at York College in York, Nebraska, June 19-21. He gave a brief overview of the history of modern science and then give a world view critique of the philosophy, comparing it to Christianity. Here are notes and power points from the presentation.

The first story The 4th Birth is (just seemingly) about the Lemurians, an ancient race which appears to have existed prior to and during the time of the equally mysterious empire of Atlantis. Some authors believe that Lemurians developed their civilisation (also called Lapita and Mu - Motherland) some 70,000 to 80,000 years ago, mainly in the South-West Pacific, between China and Australia.
Lemurians were living through alternating periods of peace and prosperity, conflicts and crises over the millennia. During this time, they made considerable advances in culture, politics, sciences and technology causing only minor ecological catastrophes. At the peak of their civilisation, the Lemurian people were both technically advanced and very spiritual. However, they were unaware that the indifferent Nature was leading their world towards an ultimate cataclysm. Fortunately, alongside the Lemurians and several neighbouring nations that worked hard to enslave one another, another civilisation (if one is to believe the fragments that appear in certain legends), much older and hence somewhat more mature, was witnessing this course of events.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Generating a custom Ruby SDK for your web service or Rails API using Smithyg2nightmarescribd
Have you ever wanted a Ruby client API to communicate with your web service? Smithy is a protocol-agnostic language for defining services and SDKs. Smithy Ruby is an implementation of Smithy that generates a Ruby SDK using a Smithy model. In this talk, we will explore Smithy and Smithy Ruby to learn how to generate custom feature-rich SDKs that can communicate with any web service, such as a Rails JSON API.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Sidekick Solutions uses Bonterra Impact Management (fka Social Solutions Apricot) and automation solutions to integrate data for business workflows.
We believe integration and automation are essential to user experience and the promise of efficient work through technology. Automation is the critical ingredient to realizing that full vision. We develop integration products and services for Bonterra Case Management software to support the deployment of automations for a variety of use cases.
This video focuses on the notifications, alerts, and approval requests using Slack for Bonterra Impact Management. The solutions covered in this webinar can also be deployed for Microsoft Teams.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

The Akashic record:
3. What is the Akashic record?
“The ‘Akashic Record’ is the
enduring record of all that
happens, and has ever happened,
in the whole of the universe.”!
Ervin Laszlo. Science and the Akashic Field: an Integral Theory of Everything (2007)
4. What is the Akashic record?
“The Akashic Records contain the history of every
soul since the dawn of creation.”Kevin J. Todeschi. Edgar Cayce on theAkashic
Records (1998), p. xii.!
• The ultimate ISAAR(CPF) / EAC file!
5. What is the Akashic record?
• “Akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning "sky", "space"
or “æther”!
• In the Sanskrit and Indian cultures, Akasha is an all-
encompassing medium that underlies all things and
becomes all things. It is real, but so subtle that it
cannot be perceived until it becomes the many
things that populate the manifest world.
6. What is the Akashic record?
“Our bodily senses do not register
Akasha, but we can reach it through
spiritual practice. The ancient Rishis
reached it through a disciplined, spiritual
way of life, and through yoga. They
described their experience and made
Akasha an essential element of the
philosophy and mythology of India.” !

throughout the Old and New
Testaments.”

8. What is the Akashic record?
“And I saw the dead, small and
great, stand before God; and the
books were opened: and another
book was opened, which is the
book of life: and the dead were
judged out of those things which
were written in the books,
according to their works”

10. What is the Akashic record?
"The akashic record is like an immense
photographic film, registering all the desires and
earth experiences of our planet. Those who
perceive it will see pictured thereon: The life
experiences of every human being since time
began, the reactions to experience of the entire
animal kingdom, the aggregation of the thought-
forms of a karmic nature (based on desire) of
every human unit throughout time.” - Alice Bailey

• Rupert Sheldrake: “morphic resonance”

• Memory need not be stored in material traces inside

the collective memory, affecting other members of the
species in the future.

properties and behavior of information, the forces governing
the flow of information, and the means of processing
information…It has both a pure science component, which
inquires into the subject without regard to its application,
and an applied science component, which develops services
