This document outlines Project 2 for an Architecture Design Studio course, which challenges students to design "Furnitecture" - furniture that transforms into architectural spaces - based on exploring relationships between human body and designed form. Students will go through a process of researching anthropometrics, developing narratives of self, generating and modeling design ideas, and constructing 1:1 cardboard models of their Furnitecture installations. The project aims to further students' understanding of scale, proportion, human behavior and space, and basic design principles. Students will be evaluated on their ability to create spaces relating to the body and self through interim and final submissions involving sketches, study models and a full-scale installation.
