The Visiting Church - The Forgotten Misison Field In America's NeighborhoodsJSslideshare2013
Hello Friends
I am reaching out to you at this time to share the Visiting Church story and the calling our Lord placed on my heart nearly three years ago, when I started bringing church services to those who were unable to attend and fellowship with their local church. I began teaching, preaching, praying and worshipping in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Nursing and Extended Care Communities. Since God called me to this “Spiritual Wellcare” mission field, by faith, He now has me serving in ten (10) care communities around the valley serving our VCM (Visiting Church Ministries) family with weekly or bi-weekly services, Monday through Friday. I have also been certified as a Chaplain, which has helped equip me for Hospice and grief ministering.
Based on the many lives impacted and the fruit produced through The Visiting Church to date, it’s become clear to me that this is where God has called me to serve and invest my whole heart for His glory. Not just me alone, but to engage and equip other shepherds from local churches to do the same in care communities located in their neighborhoods. VCM is purposed with the mission of coming alongside these isolated communities to adopt, shepherd and evangelize to these precious souls at risk of becoming spiritual orphans.
As you can imagine, this often forgotten population is at risk of suffering a faith crisis or spiritual starvation during a season of life when our ailing Seniors need this lifeline to God’s Love, Hope, Mercy and Truth. Most importantly, for those who don’t have a personal relationship with the Lord, their souls are at risk of eternal separation from our Father in Heaven. Perhaps you can relate to this and have loved ones currently removed and isolated from consistent spiritual nurturing through worship, prayer fellowship and reading of the Holy Scriptures? Please let me know how I may help.
Please visit our web site at http://www.VisitingChurch.org and carefully review the presentation at the bottom of our homepage. Prayerfully consider how you may be able to come alongside Visiting Church Ministries to help love and minister to the confined and afflicted seniors in your neighborhoods. To continue serving and loving on these seniors in need, I’m asking for your help and support in prayer, financially, (we are a non-profit 501c3 corporation – all gifts are 100% tax deductible) and if the Lord prompts your heart to use your gifts to volunteer, we welcome your service. Join us in building a legacy that loves on our elderly with compassion and a burning desire to serve them with spiritual enrichment through sharing the Word, Praise & Worship and Prayer Fellowship. And, please spread the word to others you may know who have a heart for serving and caring for the spiritual enrichment of our elderly.
God Bless you and thank you for the consideration. Peace & Joy to you this year! In His Love,
Jim & Lori Schubert

The saints have suggested that we try to remain focused on God, through NAMASMARAN, while we are engaged in our day to day personal, professional and social life; and pains and pleasures. The ways of satisfaction are said to open through this simple measure.
A.-K. Mayer (Lengerich: Pabst, 2014))

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
