In order to achieve this, each country in Europe, and the European Union, should adopt and implement the principles of the  IFLA/Unesco Manifesto. TIK: new sense, new senses? En el verano de 1972, Carlos Lenkersdorf escuchó esta palabra por primera vez.  Había sido invitado a una asamblea de los indios tzeltales, en el pueblo de Bachaján, y no entendía nada. Él no conocía la lengua y la discusión, muy animada, le sonaba como lluvia loca. La palabra tik atravesaba esa lluvia. Todos la decían y la repetían, tik, tik, tik, y su repiqueteo se imponía en el torrente de voces. Era una asamblea en clave de tik.  Carlos había andado mucho mundo, y sabía que la palabra yo es la que más se usa en todos los idiomas. Prácticas y aprendizaje A minha formação como homem e a minha carreira como profissional, devo-a tanto às interferências  positivas  dos meus educadores e mestres, como, sobretudo, aos  erros educativos  que eles cometeram para comigo. Aprendi por intuição e experiência de vida que as atitudes chamadas  erradas  são tão válidas em educação como as atitudes  correctas . Context 3 THEKA Calouste Gulbenkian Project for Teacher Education to Develop School Libraries, Portugal, 2004-2008 FGC   pretends to promote training teacher’s training on school libraries.   Goals Training teachers to develop schools libraries as resource centres to improve reading, information literacy, pupils  success and learning, as well as to  provide support for lifelong learning and gateways to knowledge and culture.  Developing school library projects working closely with pupils, staff, and community, through managing and supporting the school curriculum and extra-curricular activities in order to promote a whole-school ethos.  Creating and maintaining self-training resources using a wide range of different supports including web pages, database, reference documents, information on research and innovation Target teachers and pupils   Teachers: Pre-school and Basic Education, mainly primary teachers Pupils: Three to Eighteen years old pupils
