The document discusses the new media technologies used during different stages of the student's media production project. During construction, the student used Logic Pro X and Final Cut Pro X for recording and editing, and a Nikon DSLR for filming to achieve a more professional outcome. YouTube provided tutorials that helped with editing techniques. In planning and research, tools like Blogger, Prezi, Szoter and GoConqr were utilized to present findings, annotate images, and map out ideas. For evaluation, a drawing tablet and Fire Alpaca software allowed annotations and designing of ancillary pieces.

The document provides a safe harbor statement noting that any forward-looking statements could differ materially from expressed results due to risks and uncertainties. It then lists benefits companies have reported from adopting Knowledge Centered Service (KCS), including improvements in resolution time, first-contact resolution, agent satisfaction, and case deflection. Finally, it summarizes innovations to the Salesforce Knowledge product over the past year, such as richer article editing, versioning, validation status, and integration with other applications.
The document discusses measuring KCS (Knowledge-Centered Support) metrics using Salesforce Knowledge. It recommends creating three fields on the Case object - Known vs New (picklist), Has Article Linked (checkbox), and Citation (checkbox) - and a trigger to automatically update these fields when a case is saved. The trigger checks for article links and sets the Known vs New field based on whether the linked article was created for that case. Dashboards and reports can then leverage the new fields to provide metrics like what percentage of cases are new or known issues, who is creating reusable articles, and if cases with linked articles close faster.
The document outlines an agenda for a Salesforce user group meeting including demos of Success Community, Klever (a knowledge sharing platform), and new features in Summer '13 like public knowledge for mobile, required fields, and an article tracking API. It also provides details on Klever which aims to increase productivity and reduce time to competency through knowledge sharing. The document concludes with an announcement of Dreamforce dates from November 18-22, 2013.
How to have actionable feedback with salesforce knowledge Francois Lopitaux
This document provides instructions for setting up actionable feedback on articles in 3 steps:
1. Activate Chatter on article types to enable feed tracking.
2. Create a custom object called "Article Feedback" to store feedback with fields like status, title, number, comment, and link.
3. Create a feed item trigger to automatically create a record in the Article Feedback object whenever a user posts feedback on an article using "#feedback" in Chatter. This retrieves article details to populate fields in the new feedback record.

Smart keyboards automatically display the most relevant keyboard for the data being entered. For example, in contacts the keyboard will show buttons for entering phone numbers. This saves users from switching between keyboards and makes data entry faster and easier. Animations and gestures are important parts of many new UI patterns as they make interactions intuitive and engaging for users. Gestures like swipes and taps replace buttons and menus in many apps, freeing up screen space.
The document discusses various user interface design patterns used in popular mobile apps. It begins by defining what UI design patterns are and how they should be used. It then covers some key patterns including gestures, animations, smart keyboards, default values and autocomplete, immediate immersion, action bars, social login, and huge buttons. The document provides examples of popular apps that utilize each pattern and short descriptions of how the pattern solves common user problems.

Rethinking Kållered │ From Big Box to a Reuse Hub: A Transformation Journey ...SirmaDuztepeliler
"Rethinking Kållered │ From Big Box to a Reuse Hub: A Transformation Journey Toward Sustainability"
The booklet of my master’s thesis at the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. (Gothenburg, Sweden)
This thesis explores the transformation of the vacated (2023) IKEA store in Kållered, Sweden, into a "Reuse Hub" addressing various user types. The project aims to create a model for circular and sustainable economic practices that promote resource efficiency, waste reduction, and a shift in societal overconsumption patterns.
Reuse, though crucial in the circular economy, is one of the least studied areas. Most materials with reuse potential, especially in the construction sector, are recycled (downcycled), causing a greater loss of resources and energy. My project addresses barriers to reuse, such as difficult access to materials, storage, and logistics issues.
Aims:
• Enhancing Access to Reclaimed Materials: Creating a hub for reclaimed construction materials for both institutional and individual needs.
• Promoting Circular Economy: Showcasing the potential and variety of reusable materials and how they can drive a circular economy.
• Fostering Community Engagement: Developing spaces for social interaction around reuse-focused stores and workshops.
• Raising Awareness: Transforming a former consumerist symbol into a center for circular practices.
Highlights:
• The project emphasizes cross-sector collaboration with producers and wholesalers to repurpose surplus materials before they enter the recycling phase.
• This project can serve as a prototype for reusing many idle commercial buildings in different scales and sizes.
• The findings indicate that transforming large vacant properties can support sustainable practices and present an economically attractive business model with high social returns at the same time.
• It highlights the potential of how sustainable practices in the construction sector can drive societal change.
