Only if they contribute to appropriate care they will realize high value care and eventually find structural financing and reimbursement. But what exactly is appropriate care when it comes to development and implementation of games in health? A view from the Dutch National Health Care Institute . KLIK.
  3. Affiliated with ZIN [POLICY] Every person in the Netherlands is entitled to health care offered in the basic health insurance package. We all contribute to this through our health insurance. The National Health Care Institute determines and advises on which types of health care are included in the basic care package and which are not. Taking care of good healthcare – no more and no less than necessary. The philosophy underpinning the Dutch healthcare system is based on several more or less universal principles: access to care for all, solidarity through medical insurance (which is compulsory for all and available to all) and high-quality healthcare services. The Dutch system has been shaped by a number of historical trends, developments and social conditions. De toekomstverkenning is gebaseerd op een analyse van de zorguitgaven in de periode 2003-2015. In deze periode zijn de reële zorguitgaven toegenomen met gemiddeld 2,8 procent per jaar. Hoeveel zorg er wordt betaald uit collectieve middelen en hoeveel uit eigen betalingen of aanvullende zorgverzekeringen is een beleidsmatige keuze. Het Trendscenario gaat uit van de veronderstelling dat er geen nieuw of geïntensiveerd beleid wordt ingezet. De toekomstige verhouding tussen collectieve en overige betalingen is daarom hetzelfde als de verhouding in de laatste beleidsbegroting.
