We have seen the rapid adoption of mobile technology in India over the last 15
years or so. In the second wave, starting from 2010, we are witnessing the next
generation of disruption driven largely by the mobile platform. For example, in
August 2012, more people in India accessed internet through mobile than
through landline connections. While this is not entirely unexpected, the rate of
change is truly phenomenal and throws some very interesting opportunities for
brands and organizations in India.
It was in this context that we thought of a research project to understand and
analyze the changing demographics, needs and expectations of a mobile user
in India. What you see in the following pages are some patterns and insights
that you may "nd useful in your understanding of the Indian mobile user.

Today, a growing number of vehicles are equipped with communication devices to facilitate vehicle to vehicle and vehicle to infrastructure communication and increase the safety of passengers. A new type of network called Vehicular Network VANET provides us with the infrastructure for developing new systems to enhance drivers' and passengers' safety and comfort. This report was produced to evaluate the EE’s marketing environment, identify and recommend suitable potential strategies by using thoroughly several models to assess and examine the external and internal environment.
The examination of the external environment was carried out with the use of PESTLE, Porter’s 5 forces and an overview of current telecoms segmentation. In order to assess the internal environment, EE’s current performance, value chain and product portfolio were reviewed. The analysis revealed that despite having apparent strengths in 4G technology and market position, EE still has some issues especially with its brand image, perceived value for money proposition and customer satisfaction. Recommendations were made to improve on EE’s customer service as part of a customer retention focus and continuingly increase the 4G customer base as EE’s main growth driver.
The multiplier effect phenomenon is a characteristic of Internet technology: internationally the Internet is the tap root of many significant developments in economic and social life. This paper was conceived during my study of one of these developments, electronic commerce (e-Commerce). E-commerce has generated a vast body of knowledge incorporating thoughts from many disciplines. This paper follows mobile marketing one of the trails in the corporate marketing dimension of e-commerce. Based exclusively on relevant professional literature, it speaks to the adaptation of certain marketing traditions to mobile devices: cell phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), smartphones. Thus, this paper projects the marriage of
technological innovation and commercial traditions: mobile devices are the technological innovation; careful composition of messages and couponing are among the commercial traditions.
The digital economy is the type of economy which operates predominantly with the help of digital technology. It is the economic activity that results from the online transactions among people, businesses, devices, and processes. The economic activity is enabled by information and communications technologies. The transition from traditional to digital economy will boost national competitiveness and bring about new opportunities for businesses and jobs. This paper provides a primer on digital economy. The intended audience for this project/presentation is anyone interest in knowing the impact of GSM/Mobile in the youth employment in Nigeria.
