Intro Apple Inc. is an American multinational corporation that designs and markets consumer electronics, computer software, and personal computers. Biography: Steve Wozniak 1950: Born 11 th  August in San Jose California   1971: Enrolled at the University of California 1976: Quit HP to form “Apple Computers”; became the vice president of Apple  1981: Injured in a plane crash and took time off Apple 1983: Returned to Apple 1985:  Had disagreements with S.Jobs, left Apple; Started new company MBF  Awarded the National Medal of Technology by the president of the USA for his Achievements at Apple 1987: Founded a new venture called CL 9, making the first programmable universal remote control 1990: Co- establishes the Electronic Frontier Foundation to provide legal aid for computer hackers  2000: Inducted into National Inventors Hall Of Fame and awarded the Heinz Award for Technology 2001: Co-founded Wheels of Zeus (WoZ), to create wireless GPS technology  2006:  Founded Acquicor Technology, a holding company for acquiring technology companies and developing them further Published his autobiography iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon  2009: Joined Fusion-io, a data storage and server company
Biography: Steve Jobs 1955: Born in San Francisco on 24 February, adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs.  1969: Summer job at Hewlett-Packard, meets Steve Wozniak 1972: Enrols at Reed College in Portland, Oregon, but drops out after a semester, instead choosing to audit classes 1983: The Lisa computer, named after his daughter, goes on sale 1985: Resigns from the Apple, following an argument with John Sculley and founds NeXT Inc, a computer company making high-end machines for universities 1986: Buys the computer graphics division of Lucasfilm Ltd, later renames it Pixar 1997: Becomes Apple's interim chief executive 1998: Wins a Chrysler Design Institute award for the iMac design 2000: ‘Interim' label removed from CEO title 2001: Unveils the first iPod 2004: Undergoes surgery for pancreatic cancer 2009: Receives a liver transplant 2011:  Takes medical leave of absence from Apple in January  Returns to Apple in March to unveil the iPad 2 August: Jobs steps aside as CEO of Apple Died: October
Usage Of Operating Systems This chart shows the percentage of use Operating Systems. As the graph on the right shows, Microsoft Windows is the most popular Operating System.  Apple’s OS X only used by 8% of computer users, but in my opinion it is the best Operating System and is design and delivered at a high quality. One of the least Operating Systems in use is Linux, which is only used by 2% of computer users.
