7. Provides ability for the API Providers to introduce
non-breaking API changes by:
● Decoupling the API publishing to DevPortal and API
deployment to Gateway
● Providing the ability to test the API changes in an
independent Gateway
● Deploy the API Revision to the relevant gateway
environment and make it available in Developer
Portal
● Rollback to the selected revision of the API if it has
adverse effect

Users with either API create permission or API Publish permission, will be able to
create API Revisions.
Users with API Create permission:
● Will be able to create new revisions of the API is in Created state
● Can test it using the Test Console in Publisher portal
Users with API Publish permission:
● Will be able to create new revisions from APIa that are in Created state as well
as Published state
