This slideshow provides an overview of ANZAC Day and its significance in Australia and New Zealand. It commemorates the soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who landed at Gallipoli in 1915. This slideshow begins with a basic overview of ANZAC
Day suited to young students followed by a section for
Year 4 students and above based upon the song,
Only Nineteen, by the Australian folk group, Redgum.
Please preview all material to ensure it is appropriate for
your students. The video that accompanies the song is the
RAGE version which is more appropriate for primary
students than the original Redgum clip.
