This document presents 10 statements related to themes in the epic poem Beowulf for students to indicate their level of agreement or disagreement on a spectrum. 10. Statement #9 Having a lot of material possessions is a way to gain respect from others.

11. Statement #10 There are no “modern-day” monsters.
