anti aging is the hottest topic of world today. With medicine and technology moving faster than ever, we're expected to outlive our parents age. But how fast is your body aging from the inside out? There are myths about aging that people are not aware of.
Until recent it was believed that the way we age, feel and look is embedded in our genes and there was no way to change that. But Time magazine has released an issue talking about "gene expression" as a new science that flips the aging coin!
Scientists from around the globe had discovered an amazing science, called ageLOC, that flips our gene switches on and off so now we don't have to look or feel old anymore!
But also staying healthy taking your multivitamins and anti aging supplements including resveratrol anti aging products has amazing effects on anti-aging your body from the inside out.
The question is: how do you know that the multi vitamins you are taking are being absorbed in your body? How do you know that they are the best multi vitamins out there and that they are formulated right and not being flushed?
There is only once device that can find out: The Biophotonic Scanner .It's a device that can measure the antioxidants levels in the body non invasively in 90 seconds and give you an accurate score about your current diet, lifestyle and supplements you're taking. It's a health assessment device.
Lifepak Nano is a comprehensive anti-aging supplement that is guaranteed to increase your score in 60 days or your money back- http://www.nsedreams.com/pwp/productInfo.do?pwpID=US1177013&prodId=01003610&textCacheLocale=en_US

This document provides an overview of the aging process and how it affects different parts of the human body. It discusses how aging slows cell multiplication and impacts the immune system, bones, brain, skin, hair, vision, hearing, and heart. Regular exercise, stress management, and healthy lifestyle choices can help ensure a more active old age despite physical changes from aging.
The document discusses aging of the face and its underlying pathophysiology. It states that facial aging begins with structural changes in multiple facial tissue layers, including skin, fat, muscle and bone. Intrinsic aging is the inevitable natural aging process that occurs due to telomere shortening and reduced cell division over time. Extrinsic aging like photoaging and smoking further accelerate the natural aging process. Key changes include thinning and sagging of skin with reduced collagen, redistribution and loss of facial fat, loss of facial bone volume, and prominence of lines and wrinkles.
Facial Aging Process by Dr. Kenneth DickieKenneth Dickie
Dr. Kenneth Dickie from Royal Centre of Plastic Surgery in Barrie, Ontario explained the process of Facial Aging from when one was a baby to elderly.

The document summarizes the structure and function of human skin. It describes the three layers of skin - epidermis, dermis and hypodermis. The epidermis contains keratinocytes, melanocytes and other cells. The dermis contains collagen, elastic fibers and blood vessels. Photoaging is caused by UV radiation damage from the sun and leads to wrinkles, pigment changes and loss of collagen over time. Prevention involves limiting sun exposure, wearing sunscreen and protective clothing.
The Aging process is a broad topic. This power point hopes to help you understand the process and what can be done to help you age gracefully and positively.
The document discusses several topics related to aging including:
1. It summarizes several theories of aging including oxidative damage, mitochondrial genome damage, and wear and tear.
2. It describes genetic pathways involved in aging in C. elegans such as the insulin signaling pathway and pathways involving germ cells.
3. It notes that similar genetic pathways regulating aging have been found in other species such as Drosophila and mice. Understanding these pathways may help increase human life expectancy in the future.
This document discusses aging and the physical, mental, and social changes that occur as people get older. Physically, aging can result in less strength, weaker senses, brittle bones, and reduced mobility. Mentally, the mind can still learn but dementia and Alzheimer's disease may occur. Socially, older adults may experience the loss of a spouse, mandatory retirement, and less involvement in community activities resulting in loneliness. The document also lists several programs and services available in the Philippines to support the needs of older adults, such as senior citizen clubs that provide discounts, financial assistance, and homes for the aged that are funded through donations.

Gastrointestinal Infections
GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS result from the ingestion of pathogens that cause infections at the level of this tract, generally being transmitted by food, water and hands contaminated by microorganisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio cholerae, Campylobacter, Staphylococcus, Rotavirus among others that are generally contained in feces, thus configuring a FECAL-ORAL type of transmission.
Among the factors that lead to the occurrence of gastrointestinal infections are the hygienic and sanitary deficiencies that characterize our markets and other places where raw or cooked food is sold, poor environmental sanitation in communities, deficiencies in water treatment (or in the process of its plumbing), risky hygienic-sanitary habits (not washing hands after major and/or minor needs), among others.
These are generally consequences (signs and symptoms) resulting from gastrointestinal infections: diarrhea, vomiting, fever and malaise, among others.
The treatment consists of replacing lost liquids and electrolytes (drinking drinking water and other recommended liquids, including consumption of juicy fruits such as papayas, apples, pears, among others that contain water in their composition).
To prevent this, it is necessary to promote health education, improve the hygienic-sanitary conditions of markets and communities in general as a way of promoting, preserving and prolonging PUBLIC HEALTH.
Gastritis and Gastric Health
Gastric Health is one of the most relevant concerns in human health, with gastrointestinal infections being among the main illnesses that affect humans.
Among gastric problems, we have GASTRITIS AND GASTRIC ULCERS as the main public health problems. Gastritis and gastric ulcers normally result from inflammation and corrosion of the walls of the stomach (gastric mucosa) and are generally associated (caused) by the bacterium Helicobacter pylor, which, according to the literature, this bacterium settles on these walls (of the stomach) and starts to release urease that ends up altering the normal pH of the stomach (acid), which leads to inflammation and corrosion of the mucous membranes and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
In addition to bacterial infections, gastritis and gastric ulcers are associated with several factors, with emphasis on prolonged fasting, chemical substances including drugs, alcohol, foods with strong seasonings including chilli, which ends up causing inflammation of the stomach walls and/or corrosion. of the same, resulting in the appearance of wounds and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
Among patients with gastritis and/or ulcers, one of the dilemmas is associated with the foods to consume in order to minimize the sensation of pain and discomfort.

5-hydroxytryptamine or 5-HT or Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that serves a range of roles in the human body. It is sometimes referred to as the happy chemical since it promotes overall well-being and happiness.
It is mostly found in the brain, intestines, and blood platelets.
5-HT is utilised to transport messages between nerve cells, is known to be involved in smooth muscle contraction, and adds to overall well-being and pleasure, among other benefits. 5-HT regulates the body's sleep-wake cycles and internal clock by acting as a precursor to melatonin.
It is hypothesised to regulate hunger, emotions, motor, cognitive, and autonomic processes.
The skin is the largest organ and its health plays a vital role among the other sense organs. The skin concerns like acne breakout, psoriasis, or anything similar along the lines, finding a qualified and experienced dermatologist becomes paramount.

7. THE AGING MYTH
• Definition of Aging:
It’s the process of getting old. Starting at a certain age, operations of the
human body begin to decline in physical and mental functioning. The
genetic makeup of the individual together with the health and lifestyle
determine the response to these changes:
• Causes of Aging:
1. Genetic Theory: The aging of the cells of each individual is
programmed into the genes, and there is a preset number of possible
rejuvenations in the life of a given cell. When cells die at a rate faster
than they are replaced, organs do not function properly, and they are
soon unable to maintain the functions necessary for life. Human cells
maintain their own seed of destruction at the level of the
chromosomes.
2. Free-radical theory: The most commonly held theory of aging, it is
based on the fact that ongoing chemical reactions of the cells
produce free radicals. In the presence of oxygen, these free radicals
cause the cells of the body to break down. As time goes on, more
cells die or lose the ability to function, and the body soon ceases to
function as a whole.
8. THE AGING MYTH
• Symptoms of Aging:
Skin Wrinkles Weight Gain Hair Loss Vitality Loss
9. THE AGING MYTH
• The Genetic Theory:
The Epigentic Science – The Gene Expression Science - ageLOC:
• Scientists and antiaging and genetic experts have identified key groups or
functional clusters of genes—YOUTH GENE CLUSTERS— that help influence
how we age. They were then able to target and reset these YGC to a more
youthful gene expression pattern to help look and feel younger longer. This is
called the ageLOC science.
• Think of your body as an incredible orchestra of genes. The song it plays is
you and everything you do. When our genes are expressing youthfully, they
are playing in harmony—this is when we look and feel young. As we age, our
song starts to drift and over time the pitch changes as the key sounds flat or
sharp...out of tune.
10. THE AGING MYTH
• The Genetic Theory:
The Epigentic Science – The Gene Expression Science - ageLOC:
• Like any good conductor, ageLOC science identifies and targets the groups that aren't
performing up to par. Then, it's a matter of resetting the genes related to aging
toward a more youthful, harmonious state.
• Some genes within the cluster may need to be turned up while others may need to be
turned down. The ageLOC science resets YGC to create a youthful balance within each
cluster—returning them to more youthful patterns of activity.

21. THE AGING MYTH
• The Free Radical Theory:
• What are free radicals? Free Radicals are unstable and highly reactive
molecules that cause oxidative damage to the cells of the body. As we
breathe in oxygen and our cells produce energy through our normal everyday
living processes, molecules inside of our cells react with the oxygen we
breathe in. This is called oxidative stress.
• It is exactly as oxygen reacting with certain metals (like on a car) producing
rust. That same “rust” (oxidation) happens in every single one our cells, as
long as we breathe in oxygen.
• What cause free radicals? The oxidation process is produced through our
normal everyday internal processes, such as metabolism immune defense,
stress, toxins as well as external factors such as smoking, pollution, unhealthy
eating habits…etc.
22. THE AGING MYTH
• When free radicals bond to molecules
within the body's tissues, they can
cause damage to cells or to DNA
contained within the cells
• These unstable molecules now go
around the cell literally stealing
electrons from other healthy
molecules.
• What damage do they cause? Free
radical damage is associated with an
increased risk of many chronic
diseases. They play a great role in the
ageing process, in some autoimmune
diseases, and in the development of
cancer
23. THE AGING MYTH
So what combat free radicals?
• What is an antioxidant?
An antioxidant is a natural biochemical substance that protects
and repairs all your trillions of living cells from free radicals and
the damage they cause. They are called
“Free Radical Scavengers”!
• Where do we get them from?
They are naturally available in fruits and vegetables as well as
supplementations. Examples of antioxidants include beta-
carotene, lycopene, vitamins A, B, C, E, folic acid, calcium,
magnesium, zinc, iron, selenium and other substances as well.
