compassion for your local and global neighbors are translated into actions made
possible through your support. We thank you for your prayers, for sharing the Joseph
Assignment Global Initiative’s mission and achievements with your personal and
professional networks, and for your donations. Thank you for enabling JAGI to be the
vessel for your compassion to save and uplift the lives of those most in need of your
helping hand.
In the mere nine years since Joseph Assignment’s founding, you have served the needs
of over 321,000 individuals. You have provided healthcare, clean water, food security,
micro-business initiatives, and education/literacy opportunities for people and
communities throughout the world. Your generosity is the engine that drives The
Joseph Assignment’s remarkable success.
In fact you have provided a literal engine to drive JAGI to even greater, more efficient
and effective success. Your generosity gave us the resources to obtain well-drilling
equipment and trucks, enabling JAGI to allocate resources directly to well
construction. This will greatly increase our capacity and efficiency to provide clean
water wells, thus increasing JAGI’s humanitarian footprint in targeted service areas.
In his State of the Union address, President Barack Obama stated: In West Africa,
our troops, our scientists, our doctors, our nurses and healthcare workers rolled back
Ebola – saving countless lives and stopping the spread of disease. I couldn’t be prouder
of them… But the job is not yet done – and the world needs to use this lesson to build
a more effective global effort to prevent the spread of future pandemics, invest in
smart development and eradicate extreme poverty. We are the solution against
extreme poverty; part of a global mission. Your support enables the Joseph
Assignment to ship medical equipment and supplies throughout the year that provide
support for medical staff in the global effort to eradicate Ebola. The Joseph
Assignment will continue its commitment until the disease is contained or cured.

Our mission is to impact the lives of the world’s poorest children and their families by addressing their
education, economic and physical needs; through collaborative initiatives by leveraging resources
necessary to stimulate systemic development.
Established in 2005, The Joseph Assignment
Global Initiative is a global humanitarian
organization 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation
and an international NGO committed to
responding to the basic needs of people living in
poverty around the world. We are committed to
responding to the needs of the world’s poorest
children and families by addressing their basic
human needs. Our vision is to meet basic human
needs in a manner that goes beyond what is
typically considered charity. The Joseph
Assignment provides effective tools for
sustainable development.
Green technology is at the fundamental core of
our community development blueprint. From a
planning perspective, we realize that we cannot
achieve sustainable eco-friendly development
without delivering solutions that meet the
residents’ commercial, agricultural, and
educational needs. We achieve our development
goals through extensive project planning,
community participation, and the
implementation of initiatives and programs that
shape the framework for a sustainable future that
transforms the lives of God’s people for
generations to come. 100% of all contributions are
used to directly impact the lives of people living
within these remote villages. None of the
resources are used for administrative overhead.
Secondly, we utilize the intellectual capital of
professionals and specialist in education,
medicine, and agriculture living within the
country and the USA to assist us in developing
our infrastructure plans and to implement our
developmental objectives. The key to our strategy
is maintaining the operational vision beyond the
model of maintaining subsistence to one of
sustainable development. Dr. Trunell D. Felder
and Dr. Alexis Felder, established the Joseph
Assignment Global Initiative with an
international vision to position the organization
to meet the holistic needs of people living in
extreme poverty all around the world.

The Joseph Assignment made a
commitment to maintain a
consistent presence on the ground
in the countries confronted by
Ebola until the virus is contained
and cured. Since the beginning of
the crisis, The Joseph Assignment
has provided financial support and
continues to send medical supplies,
equipment, and PPE kits to aid
health care workers to combat this
deadly virus. With great
thanksgiving in our hearts, to date
Liberia and Sierra Leone have been
declared Ebola free! To all of our
donors and partners, thank you for
joining us in the fight. Guinea is
still in the fight and so are we.

EXPANDING OUR REACH
With 2.8 million people, Jamaica is the third most
populous Anglophone country in the Americas, after
the United States and Canada, and the fourth most
populous country in the Caribbean. Deficits in
Housing, Clean Water/Sanitation, and access to basic
socioeconomic development are causal factors for
the country’s vulnerability and poverty levels.
The Joseph Assignment is committed to assisting
Jamaica fulfill its potential in all sectors of
Jamaica’s National Development Plan. Each National
Development Goal contains a set of strategic

Our approach is empowerment. We know that it is not enough
to just provide clean water and leave a village of people
without education and food. We ensure that the people living
in these remote villages have an opportunity to become
self-sustaining and productive citizens within their society.
When we leave a village it is our goal that every resident has
learned to read, write, farm, manage money and have access
to clean water. We develop self sustaining communities
throughout the world by investing in permanent social and
economic infrastructures. We want to give them the freedom
to live healthy and productive lives.
