“The Flannel Isle’ .We filmed the skit
and sent it to Dumbarton Academy,
Glasgow. It was well appreciated.

Our Swedish partner school teachers and
students came on a week long visit the school in
December.
A lot of academic idea exchange and cultural
exchange took place.
The students and teachers went on home visits
to see Indian homes

  • 11. We go GLOBAL Our partnership with the British schools have been going strong. There have been postal letters and E- mail exchanges. We had adapted and staged the poem “The Flannel Isle’ .We filmed the skit and sent it to Dumbarton Academy, Glasgow. It was well appreciated.

We go GLOBAL Our Swedish partner school teachers and students came on a week long visit the school in December. A lot of academic idea exchange and cultural exchange took place. The students and teachers went on home visits to see Indian homes Some collaborative projects are planned by both the schools to be undertaken soon

Kajal Patel, Yashasvi Parikh, Rudrashish Pal, Rudra Trivedi and Labdhi Shah Won the national level competition for their research on ‘The Comparative Study of Plant Biomass’ at ‘National Children Science Congress 2010’ organized by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The teams research was appreciated by eminent scientists like Prof. Yashpal

  • 22. Mirali and Cauvery stood first in U-17 category at Rajkot They represented the Baroda District Team
  • 23. Jainil Trivedi stood first in Open Baroda Chess tournament at the Baroda Chess Institute.
  • 24. Atharva Joshi got runner’s up trophy in U-13 singles and doubles at open Baroda badminton championship. His present ranking is third in U-13 category at Gujarat level.
  • 25. Jiya Choudhary got two silver medals and secured second position in 17th Inter Do-Jo Karate championship.
  • 26. The girls’ team stood first in U-19 basketball tournament organized by SGFI, The U-19 Reliance Cup, & The U-19 tournament at Vidyani.

  • 29. Shrey Londhe was selected for RDC, Best Cadet and National firing competition at Chandigarh.
  • 30. Karan Shah bagged the ‘Junior Sardar Patel Award’ for skating. He has been awarded by the Gujarat Government. fourth time.
  • 31. Nirva Patel came first in girls U-10 Open Baroda Tennis Tournament.
  • 32. Vihang Godbole and C.V.Ramakrishna got selected for final round of quiz competition conducted by EICA
  • 33. Yashashree Watkar came first in district level Science Seminar held at Community Science Center.
  • 34. Vatsal Limbachiya got first position and Mitesh Rajput got second position in “Bharat ko Jano – Prashna Manch” organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad.

  • 42. The principal was invited for the International School Leaders summit 2010 at Stockholm, Sweden. She presented a paper on ‘Indian school leadership - issues & challenges’.

  • 45. • She was also invited by NCERT to be a member of the educationists to write teacher training manuals for mathematics • She conducted a 5 day workshop on ‘Innovative Methods for master trainers of North eastern region to teach Mathematics’
  • 46. CONTENUOUS COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION (CCE) The School has been practicing CCE for some time now. Mrs. Kelkar has conducted workshops on CCE in many schools in Vadodara, delhi, Guwahati
  • 47. Central Gujarat Sahodaya Complex organized a a conference on Mrs. Kelkar as the chair person of Sustainable development
  • 48. Mrs. Kelkar presented a paper on economics education in schools at the National Conference organized by NCERT
  • 49. Ms. Pradnya Gokhale has been chosen as the British Council School Ambassador. Her role will be to promote the different British Council Programs in the Schools in Gujarat.
  • 50. She attended a conference organised by TERI in Delhi. Her lesson plan “Integrating study of Environmental Issues in curriculum” was adjudged as the best lesson plan
  • 51. Ms. Pradnya Gokhale has been selected from all over India by the British Council to present her action research on Vedic Mathematics
  • 52. Mrs. Gokhale was adjudged the Best innovative teacher in a competition held by Gujarat Nature Conservation Society.
  • 53. Ms.Geetha Iyer & Ms.Sushmita Basu presented a paper on ‘School Leadership for Sustainable Development’ at the Sahodaya Conference
  • 54. Ms. Sandhya Rai, bagged the second prize in Inter-School Teachers’ elocution competition at Shannen school

  • 57. World of Math! The school organized a Vedic Math workshop for all teachers. It was conducted by Mr. Mukund Mudholkar.
  • 59. SCHOOL UNSTOPPABLE We really showed how unstoppable we and our parents can be! We collected  collected whooping 1700 kg of old newspaper in“Pasti ki Masti” drive to buy footwear and cupboards for a municipal school  notebooks and helped our friends in the municipal school  Pencils & erasers to help our friends in municipal school  We sang, danced and played with them to entertain them
  • 60. Soaring in the Sky!!! A workshop on rocketry was conducted in school to make children learn the dynamics of rocket flying.
  • 61. Indian culture at its peak!! The great diversity of Indian tradition and religion was showcased on the school ground on Republic day. Students of standard I to IV exhibited delicious food specialties of different states in India
  • 62. New Year bash Students of standard I to IV organized a party for grandparents to mark the beginning of 2010! Young chef’s of Std I and II served lip smacking snacks to their Grandparents’
  • 63. Remembering Vivekanand The school students participated in a rally with a tableau on Swami Vivekanand & Parliament of World religion organized on his birth anniversary 12th January,2011.
  • 64. We are GREEN The school is committed to promoting Green Environment and takes lots of initiative in creating conducive atmosphere wherein students learn to care for their environment. Frequent environment Education drives make students motivated to maintain pollution free green environment. The school parents’ Green Hands Club is expanding in number and advancing in its efforts in this direction proving “Hum Kisise cum nahin”
