Our annual gala, Vegas Night, Baby! is set for April 5th, 2013 at Hollyburn Country Club in West Van. The attached is our sponsorship offerings of this great event for our amazing cause.
1. Hello!
I am writing on behalf of the Meeting Professionals International Washington State Chapter. Every year the
chapter produces a fundraiser during its annual gala event that benefits both the Chapter’s Educational Fund as
well as a local charity. In order for the fundraiser to be a success, we need your help!
This year’s MPI Annual Gala & Auction will be held at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue on November 17th. The gala is
not only an exciting networking event for its membership but the Chapter’s main fundraiser for the year. A
major portion of our fundraising is generated through the gala’s silent & live auction. This is why it is so
important we receive your support through auction donations.
In order for the event to be a success, we need your contributions. Our fundraising goal for this year’s gala is
$18,000. As a colleague, planner or supplier in the meeting industry, MPIWSC is calling upon you and your
organization to support the Chapter by generously contributing products, services or personal items/crafts for
the gala auction.
Donations can range from event elements that can be utilized for future use, products, services or personal
items/crafts. Some recommended donation items include:
Vacation package Hotel Packages Airfare
Event element (A/V, décor, F&B) Fitness membership Dining certificates
Handmade gifts like jewelry or cards Rounds of golf Sporting event tickets
Themed gift baskets Themed Parties Progressive dinners
Frequent dining certificates Lattes for a year Horseback riding lessons

Donations/Packages of $1,500 value or more will be given placement consideration in the Live Auction!
Donors will be recognized at the event on November 17th, in the gala program, in the MPIWSC newsletter, as
well as gaining exposure to the entire MPIWSC Membership.
The Chapter will also be supporting Treehouse, an amazing organization that helps our community’s foster kids.
We will be conducting a Raise-Your-Paddle donation along with collecting new, unwrapped toys, clothes, shoes,
school supplies, books at the party for Treehouse during the gala. These donations will be given to local foster
kids, giving them a reason to look forward to the holiday season. With our help, Treehouse will distribute toys
and clothes to nearly 1,000 foster kids this holiday season.
If you have any questions or would like to brainstorm donation ideas, please don’t hesitate to contact me at
