Here are your morning announcements:

1. On Wednesday, October 7th (Rain Date: Thurs, Oct 8th) SCI will be participating in the 40th Anniversary of the Terry Fox
Run/Walk. Students are encouraged to wear RED and WHITE, and they will be walking the track throughout the day. In order to
maintain classroom cohorts and to facilitate social distancing, each class will have a designated time on the track to themselves with
their teacher.
Over the years, SCI has been able to raise more than $27,000 in support of cancer research through this event. All of us have been
affected by cancer in some way or another, which can be seen through the generous contributions of our school community. If every
student brings a toonie ($2) for the event, we can continue to make a meaningful contribution as a school. If students would like to
fundraise independently, we have our own website set up by the Terry Fox Foundation to allow them to do so. Just follow the link
http://www.terryfox.ca/StaynerCIStayner and click “Students: Set Up Your Page”. Alternatively, parents can donate directly to the
cause by clicking “Donate”.

2. Military Co-op Placement Opportunity
